This week's edition is with my dear friend and fellow Body Trust® practitioner Nicole Eikenberry of Mindful Food & Motion. Nicole is a Registered Dietitian and Intuitive Eating Counsellor who focuses on helping folks come back into a kinder relationship with food and their body. Through mindful and intuitive eating she helps her clients pull back the layers of past diets and beliefs to start to disentangle their emotions with eating.
What a wonderful conversation we had about trusting our own wisdom and relying on it to inform our actions before any other external information source. I also loved chatting about reconnecting with pleasure and her 3-prong practice that she uses which involves acceptance, attunement, and honouring when it comes to enriching our lives and retuning to a deep sense of wholeness.
